rant about what 'allegedly' qualifies as art on DA

There are tons of comments on these stereo shots complaining that they are not art because they are in-game screenshots and therefore not original enough. So when you find everything I do in the scraps category, it's because they are apparently not qualified to be art. I disagree with this, but to relieve any more flaming and hate comments, everything has been moved. I'm tired of dealing with it by arguing, but I still think that if a urinal with a signature can be considered art for more than 40 years, then a carefully set-up, perfect angle shot in game can qualify as well. And how many people haven't yet seen the new website that will make framed prints and canvases of ONLY Halo 3 screenshots? [link] Bungie meant for them to become art, why then bash their designed feature?

Wow, man. You just made me see the game in an all new way. I didn't know that you don't need glasses to see 3d images.

Thanks. It's comments like yours that mean the most. It really is a new way of looking at the game. I really wish bungie had included 3D capabilities into it to begin with.

Yeah, the idea behind the glasses is that most everyone can use them, but not everyone can cross their eyes. the glasses allow one to look at one point, but filter each view for each eye. Glad you enjoyed them! I'll release some videos probably once I get the maps, these were made with screen clippings from preview vids, as per the description.

some people like stereographic 3d stuff, and in halo 3, with the theatre and screenshot functions, these are amazing. Many people consider halo 3 screenshots art. Just look at [link] or [link]

And for many of these shots, I didn't take them from a random game on XBL, I worked to set them up just the way I wanted. The out of map shots were to demonstrate the beauty of the game. You need to play it to appreciate it.
